-Utilize more care when plowing snow, so as not to damage plants and lawns
-Hire a full-time on-campus groundskeeper/horticulturalist, within the next 24 months, to coordinate efforts to plan, plant, and maintain landscape and grounds
-Develop and implement an overall campus plan for landscape and grounds which employs best practices with respect to aesthetics, planting, maintenance, and composting in the following areas: |

1. Wherever possible, eliminate lawns whose function is purely decorative and replace them with maintenance-free/low-maintenance ground cover/natural landscaping
2. Designate and preserve green spaces on campus, especially the area between Byrne Oaks and Rohlman Hall, including the relic oaks and all other mature trees on campus
3. Set up on-campus nature trail
4. Install rain barrels, where appropriate
5. Utilize porous paving materials, where appropriate
6. Set up on-campus rain garden
7. Set up on-campus meadow/prairie
8. Implement on-site composting of all yard waste
