SHORT-TERM RECOMMENDATIONS:

•  utilize reusable plates and utensils
• implement a tray-less policy
• eliminate the use of Styrofoam and non-recyclable plastics (i.e., #6)
• continue to recycle plastic, paper, cardboard, metal
• purchase supplies from local producers, whenever possible
• implement on-site composting of all food waste
• offer more non-meat food options
• eliminate pre-packaged food items as much as possible
• discontinue sale of bottled water
• implement a drink refill policy that would include all refillable cups, rather than just those sold by ARAMARK
