SHORT-TERM RECOMMENDATIONS:
- utilize reusable plates and utensils
- implement a tray-less policy
- eliminate the use of Styrofoam and non-recyclable plastics (i.e., #6)
- continue to recycle plastic, paper, cardboard, metal
- purchase supplies from local producers, whenever possible
- implement on-site composting of all food waste
- offer more non-meat food options
- eliminate pre-packaged food items as much as possible
- discontinue sale of bottled water
- implement a drink refill policy that would include all refillable cups, rather than just those sold by ARAMARK
