HEAD COACH TERESA KEHE ph. 563-588-7459

Teresa Kehe, who has been the Head Coach at Tripoli High School in Tripoli, Iowa since 1983, completed her second year at Loras College in the fall of 2007.
Kehe's overall record in two seasons at the helm is 33-36. She is 5-11 in the IIAC. Loras appeared in the IIAC Tournament in 2006 and won the Monmouth Invitational to start the 2007 season.
"In the two seasons I've been here at Loras College, we have made significant progress in the development of our overall volleyball program" Kehe said following the 2007 season. "By building our team chemistry, improving our work ethic, and encouraging a positive, energetic environment, our players have become more committed to further developing their volleyball skills while striving for excellence both on the court and in the classroom."
While at Tripoli, Kehe built a program from the ground up as the school’s first ever coach. In 2005 Tripoli won their third straight Iowa Class 1A state championship. Kehe has taken Tripoli to the state championship match eight consecutive years, winning six titles.
In addition to the state championships, Kehe won 579 matches, 14 conference titles, 14 District Championships, and eight regional championships at the high school level. She was named the State of Iowa Class 1A Coach of the Year six times and the Northeast Iowa District Class 1A Coach of the Year seven times. In 2003, Kehe was the State of Iowa National Coach of the Year Nominee and was selected by the National High School Coaches Association as a finalist for the National Coach of the Year.
Kehe graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1981 with a physical education degree.
ASSISTANT COACH TRICIA KREMER

Tricia joined the Loras coaching staff in 2007 after completing her education at the University of Iowa, where she earned her Teacher Certification in Secondary English Education. Prior to earning her teacher certification, Tricia also earned a Communications degree with minors in English and Health and Sports Studies. During her time in Iowa City, Tricia coached at multiple levels in the at Iowa City High School She has also coached with the CourtMasters Volleyball Club in Dubuque.
A Dubuque native, Kremer was an All-State volleyball player at Dubuque Senior High School and was named to the USAV All American team at the Junior Olympics in 2001. Her sister, Laura Kremer, currently plays volleyball for the University of Iowa. Tricia currently resides in Dubuque and teaches English at Hempstead High School.
Kremer expressed her thoughts on the Loras College Volleyball program after the 2007 season. "It's an exciting time to be a part of the Duhawk volleyball program. Working with the other coaches, student-athletes, and members of the Loras College community is a positive and rewarding experience. Everyone involved in the volleyball program cannot wait to move into the new Athletics and Wellness Center and continue the longstanding tradition of successful Loras College Athletics."
ASSISTANT COACH JEFF BAIR

Jeff is entering his third year as Loras' volunteer coach. He works full time as a business consultant at Cottingham & Butler in Dubuque. Jeff graduated from University of Northern Iowa in 1982 and earned his MBA from the University of Iowa in 1990. He has a 14 year old daughter Allison.
Regarding the volleyball program, Jeff adds, "Loras volleyball is definitely on the rise. We've seen each of our players increase their skill level and, more importantly, their focus and desire. We strive to make a positive impact on each player's college experience and create a terrific team atmosphere. I expect the progress we have made in the past two years to continue because of our attempt to provide each player the opportunity to rise to the level they choose to work towards and achieve." |
