Klemm honored by USTFCCCA

Loras College senior Dana Klemm was named the USTFCCCA's Central Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year on Monday. The Track & Field coaches association named their regional award winners and recognized Klemm and others for their impressive outdoor seasons. Klemm has been an All-Iowa Conference honoree in each of her four outdoor seasons at Loras in the shot put. This season, the Gurnee, IL native put up Top 10 throws in three events. Entering this weekend's NCAA Meet in Oshkosh, WI, she has the #8 discus throw, #2 hammer throw, and top shot put (48' 8") distances in the nation. She will be competing in each of these events this weekend at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh, WI.
