The Loras College women's golf team not only earned themselves a second place finish at the 2007 Iowa Conference Championships, but they also played their way into the Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches' Poll. Loras is one of six new teams in the third poll, which combines Golf World magazine's formula with the National Golf Coaches Association poll.
The team cracked the rankings at #25 today.
During the 2007 Iowa Conference Tournament Championship Loras College finished second and had three team members recognized. Head Coach Denise Udelhofen was named Coach of the Year. Seniors Amy Kemp and Stephanie Schwartz were named All-IIAC for their Top 10 finishes. Schwarz finished second overall (324) and Kemp tenth (340).
Kemp was the only three-time All-IIAC performer in the field this year. The 2007 roster also includes Brittney and Brooke Davis, Jackie Kieffer, Bridget Sullivan, and Brittney Boffelli.
