Bob Schultz
Head Coach, 563-588-7491

Coach Schultz recently completed his third season as the Duhawks' cross country coach. The women’s team was the most improved team in the NCAA Central region, moving up from 13th to 6th in one year. On the men’s side, Ben Grant was the Iowa Conference and the Central Region runner-up. He earned All-American honors for the second consecutive year with his 4th place finish at the 2007 National Championships.
In track & field, the Loras men were the 2007 Iowa Conference Indoor Champions and Schultz was named IIAC and NCAA Central Region Coach of the Year. The Duhawk women finished a Central Region best 5th place at the 2007 Outdoor National Championships and equaled the highest finish ever for the Loras women at the National Championships.
Loras is Schultz's third different head coaching stop. He comes to Dubuque from Lewis University in the suburbs of Chicago. Schultz spent three years coaching at Lewis, where he held the same position he holds at Loras. Combined between both teams, Schultz guided the Flyers to four Great Lakes Valley Conference titles in track and field and two in cross country.
Schultz graduated from Lewis University in 1991 after a successful career as an athlete. He ran in high school for nationally known York High School in Elmhurst, Ill. He, and his wife, Jennifer, are the proud parents of two sons, Joey and Justin. They reside in Dubuque.
