Duhawks 6th in season opener

The #22 Loras College women's cross country team placed sixth of 24 teams at Grinnell College's Les Duke Invitational on Saturday. Mary Bridget Corken ran the second best time in program history (22:50) in earning her fifth place finish. It was also a lifetime P.R. for Corken. The Duhawks posted the second best IIAC team result. Loras travels to the University of Notre Dame on Friday for the National Catholic Championships.
