Lehenbauer wins 400 IM, Duhawks 2nd, 3rd

Loras College junior Lauren Lehenbauer won the 400 yard Individual Medley on Friday in a time of 4:38.55 to help the women's team into second place at the Liberal Arts Championships at Principia College. Lehenbauer also finished second in the 500 freestyle. Other strong performances on the women's side came from Kenzie Murray, who finished second in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke.

On the men's side the Duhawks sit at third place entering Saturday's races.  The 200 yard freestyle relay and 200 yard medley relay teams finished third and the 400 yard medley relay team finished fourth. Zach Gries added a third place finish in the 100 backstroke.

Races scheduled for today are:

200-yard backstroke

100-yard freestyle

200-yard breaststroke

200-yard butterfly

400-yard freestyle relay

1650-yard freestyle (all but fastest heat)

(swum fastest to slowest)
