Duhawks finish 2nd, win four events
Buresh, Sulkin, Westemeier lead Duhawks to runner up finish

The Loras College men's track and field team moved up one spot from 2008 at the Iowa Conference Championships in Pella, Iowa this weekend to finish in second place in 2009.
The Duhawks won the 1500 M race (Mark Sulkin-3:57.18), the high jump and pole vault (Chris Buresh-6'-6.75" in HJ and 15'-6.50" in PV), and the hammer throw (Brian Westemeier-170'-6") to help propel them into second. Buresh, a senior, also finished third in the triple jump. Westemeier, another senior, was second in the discus. Sulkin, a sophomore, was also second in the 800 M race.
Other top three finishes included Ray Orris (3rd in 800, 1:56.16), Cody Dreyer (2nd in 1500, 3:58.83), Steve Neukem (3rd in Pole Vault, 14'-0.75"), and Matt Maloney (3rd in Hammer Throw, 167'-2").
