McGrew recognized by IIAC, Football Gazette

Loras College running back Alex McGrew was named the IIAC's Football Player of the Week on Tuesday following his standout performance on September 8 vs. Cornell College. McGrew ran 30 times for 184 yards and two TD's and added 151 yards in the return game. He also accounted for 10 of the 19 first downs Loras gained on Saturday.

Alex was also named the Don Hansen Football Gazette's Division III All-Purpose Player of the Week. He joined eight other players from across the country at the NCAA III level on this week's team.
