Grant Tabbed as IIAC Male Athlete of the Week

Ben Grant finished eighth overall and first among non-Division I competitors at the National Catholic Championships hosted by the University of Notre Dame. He ran 25:27 over the five mile course, finishing 13 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor. Grant's time was just 11 seconds off his lifetime PR of 25:16 which he ran to win the 2006 Iowa Conference Championship. He also led Loras to a tenth place finish out of 33 teams overall and a runner-up finish to NCAA Division II Bellarmine in a field of non-Division I teams.
