Loras marches to title game, finishes 2nd
The Loras College baseball team continued their run through the IIAC tournament on Saturday with wins over Central and Wartburg. Pat Thostenson (left) earned a win in the game with Wartburg, throwing eight innings in his second start of the season and giving up just two earned runs.
               
Track and Field teams finish strong at IIAC meet
The Loras College track and field teams finished third and fourth at the IIAC meet in Waverly on Saturday. Ben Grant (left) was among the winners for Loras. The senior won the 1500 by just .32 seconds. Barb Kremer provisionally qualified for the 100 M Hurdles with her .01 second win in a time of 14.91 seconds.
