REV. LOUIS ERNSDORFF

• Served as Loras Athletic Director from 1952-60, making wrestling a varsity sport during his term.
• Joined the Loras College mathematics department in 1938 and remained with the Loras community until his death in 1980.
• Former Loras president Rt. Rev. Msgr. D.V. Foley stated of Ernsdorff, "Fr. Ernsdorff has seen much progress and been one of the men responsible for the great advancement in the athletic world in the nearly eight years he acted as athletic director."
