Sister Margaret Wick

Sister Margaret Wick has been a member of the Board of Regents since October 2004.  She is currently the Administrator and Resident Manager of Alverno Apartments.  She started out as a Sociology faculty member at Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Iowa.  She then became Director of Academic Advising at the college.  

After completing her doctorate in higher education at the University of Denver, she returned to Briar Cliff College to serve as the Vice President and Academic Dean.  She became President of the college in 1987, after first serving as the President of the College of Mid-America.  She briefly worked at the University of St. Thomas after completing her Presidency at Briar Cliff College.  She is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Dubuque.
