J. Paul Breitbach

J. Paul Breitbach rejoined the Board of Regents in October 2006. He previously served as a Regent from January 1989 - October 2000, including having been elected Chair. After completing his terms, he was awarded the title Regent Emeritus. Mr. Breitbach served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Krispy Kreme until his retirement in 2001. He went on to serve as President of the Krispy Kreme Foundation until 2005. Prior to his position with Krispy Kreme, he was employed with Price Waterhouse in Chicago. Mr. Breitbach is a 1960 graduate of Loras.
