David Walsh David Walsh joined the Board of Regents in May 1999. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for Amalgamated Life Insurance Company. Prior to his current position he was Executive Vice President at SBLI USA Mutual Life Insurance Co., Inc. He is a former Alaska insurance director and President for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). He joined the American International Group as general counsel for its domestic brokerage group in 1995. Formerly, he worked as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Swiss Reinsurance America Holding Corporation. He graduated from Loras in 1971. |
