Individualized Physics/Engineering Alumni/ae

The following is a list of graduates who developed individualized programs that incorporated physics and/or engineering. Please forgive any mistakes and omissions.  We encourage you to send corrections and updates to us.  The list is in reverse chronological order.  Each alumnus/alumna is listed according to the year they graduated from Loras College.  Please note that alumi/ae of our electromechanical engineering program and pre-engineering program are listed on separate pages.

2003 Graduates:

  • Becker, Laura (Individualized Physics Major), 1999-2003. Laura completed a M.S. in Physics (Spring 2005) from Creighton University in Omaha, NE and is teaching physics, chemistry, and mathematics at West Bend-Mallard High School in West Bend, Iowa. She may be reached at becker@west-bend.k12.ia.us
  • Mihm, Beth (Engineering Studies - Management Individualized Major), 1999-2003. Beth is a Purchasing Operations Specialist at Direct Supply Equipment, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI. She works with process improvement, project management, and analysis and maintainence of the company's supplier database. Her email is bmihm@directs.com
