Physical Education and Sport Studies

The greater emphasis on sport and physical activity in our culture has created a wide variety of career opportunities in fields related to sport, fitness, rehabilitation, physical education, and health.  Loras has developed courses of study that reflect current national trends in these areas and offers accredited programs unique for a small institution.  Each of the four programs require practicum hours that allow students to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom and gain valuable real-world experience in their chosen field.  The Division of Physical Education and Sport Studies offers students opportunities to interact with professionals in multiple sport and physical activity settings to help students prepare for future careers and graduate studies.
