Building Community...

Contact Us |
Loras College focuses on being more. One unique way Loras does this is through building community. The Koinonia House is one way for students to come together and build community. Koinonia is a Greek word for "Community." The Koinonia House is a place for students to come and hangout, do homework, come to events, and grow in community. Events are held throughout the year such as movie nights, game nights, grill outs, and other events. The Koinonia House works in conjunction with Campus Ministry and provides a positive environment for students to Be More, Be Community. |
Current Events:
There is a kickoff party at the Koinonia House at the beginning of the school year for everyone to get to know each other and celebrate the beginning of a new year, with new friendships and nurturing existing ones.
Manic Mondays: Every Monday from 8-10
Monday nights are a time for games, movies, arts and crafts, charades, and more fun activities to grow in community with others.
Past Events:
Past Events consisted of movie nights, game nights, Halloween parties, Capture the Flag, cookouts, root beer keggers, and much more. |
