Dubuque, IA

Loras College's 60-acre campus stands atop one of the Mississippi River's highest bluffs in historic Dubuque,Iowa at the junction of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The campus is situated in a residential area, 10 blocks from the center of town, and is a relatively short drive from Chicago, the Twin Cities, Madison, and Des Moines.

The picturesque city of Dubuque, Iowa's oldest city, has been nurtured through the years by men and women who have left a rich legacy in Victorian mansions, Tiffany-windowed churches and grand public buildings. Today, many historic structures are restored as museums, art galleries, hotels, restaurants, and antique and specialty shops.

With the Five Flags Civic Center, the Grand Opera House, greyhound racing, cable cars, trolleys, riverboats, miles of biking and hiking trails, and some of the finest downhill skiing in the Midwest, Dubuque offers natural beauty, historical significance, and year-round fun and excitement.
