The Loras College Judo Club was founded in 1961, making 2011 our "Golden" anniversary year.

On Saturday, April 9^th we're hosting a "Celebration Shiai" with celebration features:

• The entry fee is just 50¢ (that is NOT a misprint - 50 cents) for your first division and
• Just $10.00 for a second division (limit of two divisions per person)
• Anyone 50 years old or older can enter for FREE (even TWO divisions)
• More Men's Masters divisions than usual
• Depending on number of eligible women, we may even have a Women's Masters
• We'll have more contest areas than usual to accommodate the larger attendance
• Each person entering will recieve a GOLDEN dollar, donated by a long time competitor from the club (now over 50 himself)
• Each person entering will also recieve their choice of either
  • a nylon foldup flier, or
  • an anniversary coozie
