The Principal Preparation
program LSACEL,
Loras / St.Ambrose Consortium
for Educational Leadership, is designed for adults who work full time as teachers. This is a master’s level program that prepares candidates to workas effective administrators and school leaders.

Elementary Education

The Elementary Education program prepares students to work in the general education classroom, kindergarten through sixth grade. In addition to their major coursework, candidates are required to have an endorsement area such as Language Arts, Mathematics, Reading, Social Studies, Spanish, Special Education or Unified Early Childhood.

Accreditation of Education Division

The Division of Education is accredited by the State of Iowa and holds memberships in the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, the Association of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges for Teacher Education, and the Iowa Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.
