Loras College Activities Board aka: CAB
What is Loras CAB? The Loras College Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization. CAB’s goal is to bring diverse entertainment, speakers, movies, cultural activities and numerous other events to campus. CAB’s budget comes from student fees, so it is committed to hosting events that students voice interest in. CAB provides quality activities throughout the year for the campus to enjoy.
How can you get involved in CAB? CAB has many different committee positions available this year. Students involved with CAB will have an opportunity to work with artists, agents, and other organizations on campus to plan every aspect of each CAB event. Students are also encouraged to become a part of our promotions committee and help to spread news and excitement (through posters, banners, sidewalk chalk and more) about CAB events to students on campus. An exciting new area is CAB is the 'tradition committee'. This area of CAB works to plan Homecoming, Family and Siblings Weekends, and also Dionysia activites.
Participation in CAB is very rewading and we welcome and encourage all students to get involved!
