The Loras College Health Center provides a range of health care services to the campus community. Those services include ambulatory care for most general medical problems and referral to appropriate specialists as necessary. We also provide health education and wellness promotion, self-care opportunities and loaning of equipment. These services are provided by professional registered nursing staff.

What are the required Immunizations to attend Loras?
All Loras College students with more then 7 credit hours must have two verified MMR vaccinations (after first birthday) on record in the Health Center before registering for their second semester at the College. Usually these are noted as MMR or separate vaccinations to Rubeola (red measles), Mumps and German Measles on the vaccination record. A laboratory copy showing an immune Rubeola and Rubella titers and Mumps IgG immune status is acceptable in lieu of vaccination records. The signature and office stamp of physician or immunizing official must be affixed to all records. A purple Health Form is sent to all new students and must be completed and returned to the Health Center within the first semester at Loras. All international students are required to have a TB test completed in the United States within the past year. The TB test can be done in the Loras College Health Center for a fee. The results must be on file at the Health Center prior to registering for the student’s second semester at the College.  IMMUNIZATION COMPLIANCE REQUIRED BEFORE REGISTRATION
