Iowa's #1 Collegiate News Station
LCTV received the Iowa Broadcast News Association's highest award for the 4th consecutive year -
1st Place in Overall Excellence.
LCTV is divided into three areas:
- LCTV News – Named Best College Newscast by the IBNA for the 3rd consecutive year, LCTV News is Dubuque's ONLY television newscast, completely produced by Loras students.
- SportsZONE - Loras’ own sports show! Features highlights of all Duhawk Athletics, coach interviews, and profiles on standout athletes. The Iowa Broadcast News Association has also recognized SportsZONE as the top college sportscast in Iowa for three years running.
- Live Sports – Award-winning student produced live broadcasts with commentary of Loras College sporting events.
LCTV News, SportsZONE, and Live Sports air live on Loras campus channel 13, as well as air live (and replay) to the Dubuque Community on Mediacom Channel 97-5.
Students are encouraged to get involved at any time during their college career.
